For a limited time only, you could get up to $1,700 in incentives* when you switch to an energy-efficient water heater.
Right now, thanks to the Qld Gov Climate Smart Energy Savers Rebate, you could be eligible to recieve up to $1,000* when you replace your old water heater with an energy-efficient Solar Hot Water System or a Heat Pump from Solahart. A standard rebate of $800 will be available to all eligible Qld households. Low-income households will be eligible to claim a $1000 rebate. Only one rebate is available per household and cannot be higher than the total cost to purchase/install an eligible appliance. There are only a limited number of rebates available to upgrade to energy-efficient hot water systems.
Combining this new rebate with the existing Australian Government Small-Scale Technology Certificates (STCs) helps you reduce the upfront purchase price even more. Please note that STC values are subject to change.
