When Wendy and Les moved to Gin Gin in rural Queensland, they decided to take a leaf out of the locals' books and install solar panels on their own roof to take advantage of the abundance of natural sunlight. Shane from Solahart was able to assist the Boardmans with their installation by helping them design a 6.6kW Solar Power (PV) system custom built to suit their needs, which has resulted in significant cost savings. In fact, Wendy and Les haven't had to pay a single electricity bill! Now, Wendy and Les can enjoy their home with peace of mind that they'll be able to generate the power they need in case of a power shortage.
