Solahart celebrates first-ever ‘Solahart Tradie Recognition Day’
Solahart held its inaugural Solahart Tradie Recognition Day – an opportunity to stop and acknowledge the essential role installers, electricians, plumbers, and roofers play in helping Australians transition to solar.
On Friday 3 July 2026, Solahart Dealerships across the country came together to celebrate the people behind Australia’s growing uptake of solar and renewable energy solutions. The “Lunch on Us” initiative saw teams pause to share a meal, connect, and celebrate those making the switch to solar possible for households.
Thanks to the amazing work by those on the ground every day, Solahart has now installed:
- Over 1.4 million solar panels
- Over 77,000 inverters (systems)
- Around 214MW of batteries
- More than 1.5 million hot water systems.
Solahart General Manager Stephen Cranch said the initiative was an opportunity to recognise their daily contributions in helping Australians save on their energy usage.
“Over the past year, we’ve seen strong demand for solar as more Australians look for ways to manage their energy costs and take advantage of rebates and incentives. Behind that growth is a network of skilled tradies who are trusted in their communities and help households make informed decisions about their energy use, future-proof their homes, and keep systems running,” Mr. Cranch said.
“Our Solahart Tradie Recognition Day is about acknowledging that contribution and taking a moment to thank those supporting Australia’s shift toward cleaner energy at a local level. With dealerships across the country, Solahart is local everywhere, and we’re proud to support the tradies who help households make access to solar possible.”
Dealers across Australia take part on Solahart Tradies Recognition Day
Across Australia, Solahart Dealers stepped up to recognise the hard work and commitment of our tradies.
“We're celebrating the incredible people who make it all happen: nine electricians, two plumbers and 27 apprentices,” wrote Solahart Newcastle on their social media channels.
“Every solar panel, battery, hot water system and EV charger we install is only possible because of their hard work.
“They spend their days on rooftops, under houses, in roof spaces and everywhere in between—rain, heat or shine—to make sure every job is done safely and to the highest standard."
Solahart Sunshine Coast reflected on how the installers contribute to the overall customer experience.
“One thing we hear time and time again from our customers isn't just how well their system performs - it's how professional, respectful and hardworking our installers are, and how they always leave the site clean and tidy,” the team wrote on social media.
“To our amazing installation team, thank you. Your commitment, craftsmanship and care are what make Solahart Sunshine Coast, Gympie & Caboolture what it is. We appreciate everything you do, today and every day.”
Solahart Port Macquarie touched on how Solahart’s success reflects the work the tradies do each day.
“Their dedication, professionalism, and positive attitude are what make Solahart Port Macquarie what it is. Every job completed, every happy customer, and every successful installation is a reflection of their hard work and commitment,” the social media post read.
“To our amazing tradies—thank you for the early mornings, the long days, the problem-solving, the teamwork, and the pride you bring to every single job. We appreciate everything you do, not just on National Tradie Day, but every day.”
