The number of certificates that can be created per system is based on its geographical location (zone) and varies with the type, size and model of the system installed. The value of an Energy Saving Certificate (ESC) is not fixed and varies depending on market factors. These calculations are based on a certificate value of $39. The boosted ESCs are only available in selected regional areas of NSW within each of Zones 3 and 5. Installation must be completed by June 19th 2024.  

 ** Under current regulations, NSW Government incentives apply in the form of ESCs that can be used to offer a discount on the purchase of a solar or heat pump water heater. ESCs have a variable market value and are subject to change.
