Our Solar Hot Water and Energy Solutions
We offer a wide range of solar water heating systems and energy-efficient solutions, including:
Roof-Mounted Thermosiphon Systems
If you have a large north-facing roof, your home may be ideal for a roof top system, which includes a roof-top storage tank mounted together with solar panels. The sun’s energy heats the fluid in the panels before transferring this heat to the water in the storage tank.
Split Solar Water Heaters
If you would prefer not to have the storage tank located on the roof, we would recommend a split solar hot water. A split solar system has the storage tank installed at ground level together with a small circulating pump to ensure constant water flow between the tank and solar collectors (panels) ideally located on a north-facing roof.
Heat Pump Systems
If solar hot water or solar power is not suitable due to shading or structural constraints, heat pump water heaters are a dependable alternative. These systems extract heat from ambient air and operate efficiently year-round. The heat pump tank is stored at ground level and can usually be fitted in the same location as your previous gas or electric water heater.
Solar Power (PV)
In addition to solar hot water, Solahart also has solar power solutions to reduce your reliance on grid-generated electricity. A solar power system as compact as 10 square metres could contribute 30% of the energy needed to power the average Australian home.
