The advertised $2,949 price includes standard installation and is calculated after the application of eligible government incentives. Standard installation excludes the following: new powerpoint installation; new or modification of electrical circuit; new concrete pad for heat pump; relocation of existing equipment or accessories.
The Hardwired Heat Pump option, replacement of a different type of hot water system, or installations that do not meet the standard installation criteria will incur additional charges. All installations are subject to a final site inspection. Please contact Solahart for further details.
Under current regulations, government incentives may be available in the form of:
Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs) – STCs can assist in reducing the upfront cost of purchasing eligible energy-efficient hot water systems, including heat pumps. The STC value has been calculated for Zone 4, which covers southern Victoria. Other parts of Victoria may fall into Zone 3 and therefore may qualify for a different STC value.
Victorian Energy Efficiency Certificates: Victorian Energy Efficiency Certificates (VEECs) are credits issued under the Victorian Energy Efficiency Target (VEET) scheme for eligible energy upgrades, from large commercial and industrial sites down to individual homes. The quantity of VEECs issued is based on the amount of calculated greenhouse gas emissions avoided through the upgrade. The values listed for VEECs are valid when replacing an electric system. Solar Victoria Locally Made Hot Water Rebate: From 1 July 2025, households that choose an eligible locally made hot water product will receive a higher rebate of up to $1,400.
