Mount Lewis Bowling Club

Mount Lewis Bowling Club is a family-friendly club that offers a broad range of social events to the local community. It comprises of three large bowling greens, in-house dining, a VIP lounge and large areas for private functions and corporate events. They hold regular fundraising events to support local charities and to help build a robust social community by holding weekly trivia nights, meat raffles, poker nights, live music and daily meal specials.

Club Mount Lewis approached Solahart to understand possible ways to reduce their electricity costs and carbon footprint. With the recent increase in electricity prices and rising operational costs, the business was starting to feel the extra stress and needed to take action. Solahart provided an in-depth analysis of the club's electricity usage patterns and charges and the available roof space, calculating that they could offset around 21% of their daily energy consumption, saving them over $20k per year.

The outcome of the assessment is a fully monitored Solahart system, which allows the club to observe and check the performance of each panel installed, the amount of solar power generated and track the club's power consumption.
