Mr Freeman of Morwell Victoria recently made the decision to take control of his home energy use by installing a TESLA Powerwall home battery. Having purchased a new home in morwell which had a large electric water heater and predominantly electric appliances aside from one small gas heater in the home, he made the wise decision to disconnect the gas to the property and install a 4.59kW Solahart optimised solar power system, a Solahart 302SC series thermosiphon solar water heater and a TESLA battery. The solar system installed is an advanced technology that has optimisers on every panel, allowing Solahart Latrobe Valley and himself to monitor the performance and output of each panel and the total of the system. Adding to this the system has an energy meter that monitors and displays the households usage from the grid solar or battery in real time from a smartphone.
